Why Dapo Abiodun needs to be careful of who becomes LG chairmen: A case study of Ruffy
Governor Dapo Abiodun and party leaders needs to be very careful at this time of electing who the chairmen of the 20 local governments will be. People with impeccable character and questionable sources of wealth needed to be screened out.
Controversy trailing Abiodun’s administration is getting too much from one fraudulent appointees to another. Now, we have a case of Abidemi Rufai popularly called Ruffy, an Ijebu-Ode indigene who is a Senior Special Assistant to the governor.
Among Ruffy’s set of “Yahoo yahoo boys” is one Dare Alebiosu popularly called Drey in Ijebu Ode, another one is one Tajudeen Ishola called TJ in Abeokuta North.
These are people whose sources of wealth are questionable and has no means of livelihood other than Yahoo yahoo (internet fraud and scamming).
TJ is contesting to be Abeokuta North chairman while he has a fraud case with EFCC, Drey also a yahoo boy has such case.
Should Abiodun allow these set of people become chairmen of LGs with Ruffy’s case at one side?
Let party leaders collecting money from them think twice before giving them tickets. They should not sell their children’s future for money oooo
