With the launch of the EduCash Award initiative, Governor Dapo Abiodun has not only extended financial relief but also kindled a flame of optimism among the youth.
The EduCash Award initiative, aimed at providing financial assistance to students of Ogun State origin enrolled in tertiary institutions nationwide, has touched the lives of 60,000 individuals. Each recipient, irrespective of their economic background, is entitled to a significant sum of N50,000, courtesy of the state government’s proactive measures.
Furthermore, in a commendable effort to ensure inclusivity and support the most vulnerable, an additional 10,000 indigent students from public primary and secondary schools are set to benefit from the initiative, receiving N10,000 each. This thoughtful approach underscores the government’s commitment to fostering educational equity and accessibility for all.

For many, the funds received will contribute towards tuition fees, project expenses, and essential living costs, alleviating the burden that often accompanies higher education.
Governor Abiodun’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of Ogun State students has not gone unnoticed. Described as compassionate, tender-hearted, and student-loving, his actions exemplify leadership rooted in empathy and a genuine concern for the prosperity of individuals within the state.
