GPN Governorship candidate appeal to Ogun State INEC over 567,637 uncollected PVC.

GPN Governorship candidate appeal to Ogun State INEC to expunge the 567,637 uncollected PVC.

The Green Party of Nigerian gubernatorial candidate in 2019 elections Otunba Abayomi Odunowo has raised serious concerns over the continued allowance of the 567,637 uncollected voter cards in Ogun State voters register.

He opined that there is no reason why this should still be allowed to remain in the Ogun State voters register since it has not been uncollected before 2015 Elections until now.

He also says this no would been added to the latest data provided by INEC during the parley in Abeokuta on Thursday.

He has advised that The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) must expunge this without any further delay.

He advises It is not just acceptable for INEC tell us they are uncollected and they have not done anything about it in the last 5 years, they need to identify the exact local government, Wards and polling units where this PVC comes from so it can be expunged from the voter register database immediately.

Since they have already determined they where uncollected they must be expunged from the voter register data base before the 2019 Elections in Ogun State.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Thursday also confirmed that it has a total number of 2, 386,101 eligible voters in its register in Ogun state.

Considering this latest information 567,637 is a substantial no of voters that we must not look away, and if this was was removed from this it’s significant as the total no of votes that has ever won the Governorship election in Ogun state have never exceeded 400,000. It however very worrisome if 567,637 uncollected voters can still be left in Ogunstate voter register database.

We would like to know immediately where exactly this ghost voters where registered and when they where registered.
