The State Party Chairman Of Green Party Of Nigeria (GPN) have released the decision of the state Management Committee of the party. The information contained that the acting local government party chairperson of Green party of Nigeria, (GPN) Ijebu Ode chapter Mrs Islamiya Fasina has been suspended forthwith for anti-party activities and other serious mis-conducts
Her problems started when the party members discovered that she was not promoting the doctrine and ideals of the party as the new progressive for the country where power was obtained from the grassroots.
It was further discovered that she had questionable character, that was not inline with the party constitution by using the properties and vehicle of Green party of Nigeria (GPN) to promote other party’s interest,
Her deception in double dealing as the state Deputy chairperson of Zenith Labour in Ogun State while she also held the position Of Local Government Chairmen Couple with financial misapropation of Party funds.
It was further discovered on investigation that other party’s promotional materials where been carried Green party’s vehicle
Maligning the persons of the state executive and candidates sponsoring party activities and denying their financial involvement amongst others.
it was further released that other Local Government Chairmen Of the party are under serious investigation for such acts anti party activities and financial misappropriation of party funds
The deputy local government chairman Mr Yinka Adebanjo is to take over the running of the Local Government immediately and inform all Ijebu Ode ward Chairmen Of the decision of the state Management Committee and will act in her stead pending the conclusion of investigation by the panel of enquiry set up by the party, to look into the matter.
The General public and all party members are advised forthwith not to have any transaction or discussion on behalf of Green Party (GPN) with the suspended Acting Local Government Chairman Mrs Islamia Fashina henceforth.
