The lack of amenities in this community is stopping children’s education,
“Baba Pupa village, an ancient community of over 300 years in Odeda local Government Area of Ogun State, is a 15 minutes bike ride from Olodo community, which is also not far from Abeokuta in the same state”
I believe that some government officials would have been able to check into the said issues in the publication, but nothing yet since said date of publication, to my knowledge. This is a village with over 200 hundred old houses, with an average population predominantly farmers, who are living out of governance benefits, quoting the Baale ” This lack of developement is killing us, when we have health emergencies, we run round village to village looking for someone with bike to help us to Olodo, we are suffering and Government should consider our plight; no road, no water, no light, no health centre, no secondary school, we just live like we are not part of the world” Pa Emanuel Oduroye.
We are appealing to the National Legislators and the Housebof assembly to as a matter of urgency please attend to this people Senator Ibukun Amosun, federal house of Reps Olumide Osoba, Hon Daisi Elemide house of assembly representing odeda and also the Governor HE Dapo Abiodun, we will be glad if all can work together to salvage the situation, and enable them to enjoy the benefits of good governance
The old problems still on, lack of good source of water, as they drink from old pond, the same kind is getting dried up now, where is the hope of clean source of drinkable water?, they need health centre to take care of health emergencies in the village, secondary school to enable the Pupils from the village get qualitative secondary school education, as the old structure for secondary is now in shambles in the thick forest, electricity; the old electrical poles erected over 20 years still stands without power, and road construction, as the one embarked upon before as been abandoned even before the village…
I believe this will be reminder as the year ends, for all relevant stakeholders to come together to help the people of Baba Pupa Village, as the new administration is working to make things better for the people of Ogun State, I will be glad to see their positive hands on projects to make things better for the people of Baba village ..

The best antidote I know for worry is work. The best cure for weariness is the challenge of helping someone who is even more tired. One of the great ironies of life is this: He or she who serves almost always benefits more than he or she who is served.
I don’t want to live in the kind of world where we don’t look out for each other. Not just the people that are close to us, but anybody who needs a helping hand. I cant change the way anybody else thinks, or what they choose to do, but I can do my bit.
