AATSG Appoints Amgbare National Vice Chairman South South

In continuation of its readiness to mobilise votes across the country, the Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu Support Group, AATSG, has appointed Ebitimi Amgbare as it’s new national vice chairman for the south south region of the country.

The appointment was contained in a statement jointly signed by the national chaman of the organisation, Otunba Abayomi Odunowo and the national publicity secretary, Hon Sampson Atasia Oburu.

According to the Group, after the resignation of the former National Vice Chairman Elder James Anam Amgbare was appointed to the position because of his wealth of experience in grassroot politician having served in different capacities as a political functionary.

The statement reinstated the promise of the group to mobilise at least fifty million voters across the country for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu to ensure he emerges the next president of the country

The statement also called on Nigerians across the country to fully support Tinubu’s candidature saying he is the best man for the job of leading the country out of the present doldrums.

It further stated that given the transformation of Lagos under Tinubu as governor, there’s no doubt the national leader of the APC, would use the same experience to transform Nigeria.

The new vice chairman was born 1965, from Ogobiri in Sagbama LGA of Bayelsa State.

He holds a bachelor degree in English studies from University of Port Harcourt and served in the Nigerian Navy and voluntarily discharged after 12 years of meritorious service.

He was a Local Government Area chairman of the PDP in 2001, was appointed Honorable Commissioner for youth and Sports from 2003 to 2006. He contested and won the ticket of the governorship primary of the Action Congress in 2007.

A dogged fighter, having noted the irregularities in the election, he challenged the outcome at the tribunal and eventually got victory of the Court of Appeal. The election was annulled and a rerun was ordered.
