AATSG Appoints Abdullahi Abba As Vice Chairman North East
The flagship support organisation for the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu Support Group, AATSG, has appointed Hon. Mohammed Abdullahi Abba, as it’s national vice chairman for the north east.
The appointment was announced in a press release signed by the national publicity Secretary of the Group Sampson Antasia Oburu, after an emergency National working committee meeting, in Abuja the National Woman Leader Hon, Zara Bukar, the National Youth Leader Hon Adedayo Adeyemi , National Organizing Secretary Alhaji Habu Dauda Moisoro, the National Publicity Secretary Sampson Antasia Oburu , the. National Deputy Secretary Daura Abdul-Nasser,all approved the new appointment
According to the release, Abba’s appointment will further strengthen the organisation in its bid to mobilise support for Tinubu across the federation as we inch closer to the 2023 general election.
Odunowo stated that the organisation chose Abba for his wealth of experience having served in different capacities both as a businessman and political personality.
He submitted that given the prevailing political atmosphere in the country, and the presidential candidates of other parties, Tinubu stands the best chance to be victorious come next year.
According to him, the former Lagos State governor and national leader of APC has experience spanning over four decades in both public and private sector that will come in handy in solving the myriad of challenges facing the country.
The statement reads in part, “Honourable Mohammed Abdullah Abba has been appointed as our national vice chairman for the north east. This appointment is based on his wealth of experience both as a business man and a political operative who has held different positions of trust.
“We believe his coming on board will further strengthen our chances at winning the presidency come next year. We as an organisation will continue to scour the country for personality that will ultimately lead the mobilization efforts to ensure our leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is elected the next president of Nigeria.
“Of all the presidential candidates around, Tinubu is the best man by far and by the special grace of God, he will be our next president.”
The new national vice chairman north east was born in 1970 and hails from Adamawa State. After his education, he served first as Marketing manager and later as Managing director at Nagge Products limited.
He was elected member, Adamawa House of Assembly between 2003 and 2007. He served as special adviser, special duties to the government between 2007 and 2014. He also continued to serve in special adviser capacity between 2015 and 2019 taking charge of special duties and Assembly Matters.
