Prince Dapo Abiodun gets the additional grassroot supporters across 5040 polling units in Ogun state with support of AATSG and DAC.
As the nation gears towards the next general election, a political mobilization group, Dapo Abiodun Commandos, DAC, has promised to mobilize for votes massively for the incumbent governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun as he seeks reelection.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Director General of the organisation Otunba Abayomi Odunowo and made available to newsmen in Abeokuta on Friday.
According to the statement the governor has performed excellently across the length and breadth of the Gateway state hence the need for him to win reelection to continue the good work.
Odunowo who is also the national chairman of the Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu Support Group, AATSG, enjoined Nigerians to come out massively to support both the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu and the State governor and the Senatorial candidate of Ogun East otunba gbenga Daniel.
The statement reads in part, ” We are mobilising across the 5040 politic units of Ogun State to proclaim the goodness of the current state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
“Dapo Abiodun Commandos don’t just support any political leader. Our support is born out of the sterling achievements of the governor since assuming office in this state.
“All the twenty local governments have many projects executed by this administration. He has constructed roads, schools , hospitals, houses and so one.
“And he has done all these without making noise about it which is very rare among politicians these days.
“We will take the good news to all nooks and crannies of the state for our people to reelect this amiable man for second term come next year. As our people say, one good term, deserves another.
Meanwhile, the Ogun State chapter of the APC is set to unveil Campaign Council, and inaugurate the State Campaign Secretariat for membership of the various directorates under the State Campaign Council.
The former state governor, Aremo Olusegun Osoba has been named the grand patron of the Dapo Abiodun Campaign Council.
In a statement issued in Abeokuta on Friday and signed by the State Publicity Secretary of the party, Tunde Oladunjoye, the party stated that the simultaneous inauguration of the Campaign Secretariat and unveiling of the Chairman, Director General, Deputy Director General, Secretary and members of the State Campaign Council will hold on Saturday, December 10, 2022 by 10am.
“Our new, ultra modern and colourfully branded state campaign secretariat, which will also serve as the Asiwaju/Shetima presidential campaign office in Ogun State, will be inaugurated by the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, in his capacity as the Ogun State Coordinator of APC-Presidential Campaign Council”, the statement reads.
The Ogun state AATSG has promised to support DAC to achieve the re-elections of prince Dapo Abiodun for the second term the team is headed by Alhaji Kamaldeen Lekuti with the state excutives Sina Adewusi, Olayode Bamidele, Olugbenro kafayat, Hon Hakeem Asiru and Busayo Toyo are equipped to support and mobilize the 50,040 polling units organizers across all polling units of Ogun state to support Prince Dapo Abiodun After to mobilizing for Tinubu/Shettima presidency.
The group commends all party leaders, members and supporters for their efforts so far and assured of all-embracing, issued-based campaign, while urging members to “leave no stone unturned in ensuring overwhelming victory for all APC candidates in our agenda to continue to build our future together”.
The statement reads further: “We are very proud of the numerous achievements of our leader and gubernatorial candidate, Prince Dapo Abiodun, in all the sectors of the economy; health -especially in the containment of Covid 19 pandemic despite sharing of boundary with Lagos, the epic centre; Housing- construction of about 1,500 housing units in different parts of the state, which in an unprecedented manner, have been oversubscribed; ongoing construction of the Agro-Cargo Airport, construction and reconstruction of at least a road in each of the 20 local government areas of the state, construction/reconstruction of flagship roads like the Ijebu Ode-Mojoda-Epe Road, Sagamu-Abeokuta Road, Atan-Lusaka-Agbara Road, the cargo airport in iperu and many more; provision of funding, inputs and specialised services to farmers, and so on”.
“Governor Abiodun’s sterling performance has been attested to by local, national and international bodies with various credible awards including the recent award of Excellence in Public Service for Industrial Revolution presented by President Muhammadu Buhari; and Governor of the Year by Vanguard Newspaper and Leadership Newspaper.
