Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, on Thursday threw in the towel in what a source told News, is not unconnected with allegations that she forged her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate.
News gathered from an authoritative source that she is likely to be arrested by the Police and possibly charged in court for forgery.
The source said, “She called me this morning to inform me. I think she got tired of the many intrigues going on in The Presidency, not just about the NYSC issue, but how things are being done generally.
“By the way, President Muhammadu Buhari made two appointments yesterday:
Abbas Umar Masanawa (Katsina State) as the MD of Nigerian Security Printing & Minting Company (NSPMC).
Yusuf Magaji Bichi (Kano State) as DG DSS. He replaced Mathew Seiyefa (Bayelsa State), who was Acting DG.
“By noon today if not by end of day, they will stage a huge distraction from the 1 & 2 above cum the mysterious kidnap of an Army General by God knows who. The distraction may take any form. Kemi Adeosun most likely would be arrested today to get public buying and cause a rowdy noise.”
Pressed to confirm if President Muhammadu Buhari directed her to resign, the source said, “while she did not say that in plain language, it was clear that is what happened. But, my brother, I cannot tell you more than that. Just know that she has resigned. She has left the Cabinet.”
EpiNews had blew the lid on the NYSC scandal a few months back with attempts to dismiss it by the minister and her aides. But the newspaper stuck to its story, insisting that it has facts to back it up.
