OGUN GREEN PARTY DISSOLVES ALL PARTY EXCOS FROM STATE TO WARD LEVEL

The National Chariman Of Green Party Dr Sam Eke and the National Executive Of Green part have approved the resolution of The Stakeholders of Green Party of Nigeria Ogun state chapter at its stakeholders meeting held on Sunday 24th February, 2019 in Ijebu Ode

It was unanimously agreed to dissolve all state executives of the party.

The resolution came on the hills of the assessment of the party’s performance at the just concluded presidential and national assembly elections.

In its bid to re-engineer the working capacity of the party as we approach the gubernatorial and state house of assembly elections on the 9th of March 2019, the party’s stakeholders resolve as follows:

  1. All party management committee from the ward, local government to the state management level is hereby dissolved.
  2. An interim elections committee to be led at the state by the governorship candidate Otunba Abayomi Odunowo at the state level as Acting State Chairman and at the local constituency level by all house of assembly candidates in their various constituency is hereby constituted.
  3. That the assembly candidates are to constitute a 5 man campaign team in each polling units, 4 of whom will be canvassers while the fifth person will serve as party agent on election day.
  4. That all assembly candidates are to mop up all the polling units committee in their constituency and submit names of everyone that will work with the party in all polling units under their jurisdiction on or before Sunday 3rd of March, 2019.
  5. That the public is hereby notified that anyone who transact anything in the name of the party with all the former executives of the party from Ward to state level, especially with the former state chairman engineer Akintunde Solomon Olawoyin does so at his/her own risk.
  6. That all former executives should handover all party materials in their possession to the house of assembly candidates in their constituency, while the state executive should handover theirs to the gubernatorial candidate.

All members of the party are enjoined to give maximum cooperation to their assembly candidates as the embark on this mission of revamping the party to take over Ogun state come Saturday 9th of March 2019.
